Well, I decided to start a blog (obviously!) to record the journey of me looking into the past and discovering my family tree.
A great deal of research has been done already by my parents, as well as many other distant relations. I'm still quite a "beginner" in genealogy research but I hope to improve over time.
I already have a family mystery of sorts I'm dying to uncover. Something that's been a legend and story passed down for generations. I've submitted my story to the TV show The Generations Project and of course I'm crossing my fingers that they find it compelling enough to help me on the journey. If not, that's fine too--I'm going to find this out even if it takes me years of research.
And that's pretty much it!
